Directions

1. To begin, think of the desire that you wish to sigilize for. The statement should be a declaration of intent. Rather than saying, "I wish to have strength", say, "I will to have strength". This re-enforces the idea that you yourself are going to make this happen; you're going to will it to be. Also, the statement should be positive and never negative. For example, if you were sigilizing for wealth you would want to say something like: "I will to have wealth", don't say: "I will to not be poor".

2. Once you have finalized your statement, simply type it as you would in a text document. You'll see the letters your statement uses pop up on the screen. Note that you will not see a cursor before you type, and your statement will not actually be displayed anywhere. Also, you should not use caps (don't hit shift or caps lock, the interface won't recognize these commands). What you are seeing is simply the letters you will need to construct your sigil. The interface was designed this way so that the user would not have to deal with eliminating repeating letters, as each will only appear once no matter how many times it is pressed. (For more information about the importance of eliminating repeating letters, see the "Process" section of this site.)

3. Now that your letters are displayed, note that the large letters are draggable. They are what you will work with. The small letters, then, are used to launch the modifier controls for the corresponding larger letter. Launch the controls by clicking on the small letter. Enter the desired values into the field and hit the "done" button. Your scale and rotation modifications will be applied. To amend these modifications, simply re-launch the controls and enter new values. Note that the values always act on the letter as it was first launched. (i.e.: a scale value of 200 will double the letter's original size, even if the letter has already been re-scaled).

4. Now, take your modified letters and combine them by overlapping to create a form that is visually pleasing to you. The symbol should be abstract! Don't create anything overly ornamental or illustrative. The idea is that this symbol will by-pass your conscious thoughts and enter the subconscious.

5. Once you have created a form you find pleasing, you can print it by right-clicking in the field and selecting "Print" from the menu options. This step is optional. The representation of your sigil on the screen may be enough for you. This, of course, depends on how you choose to "charge" the sigil. (For information about charging your sigil, see the "Process" section of this site.) Note, however, that your sigil will be lost if you exit the interface without printing it.
